~ Biography ~ Tracy Lewis grew up in Ottawa, Canada where an early fascination with nature led her into art. She has created works in pastels and oils, but now her medium of choice is acrylics. Her cross-Canada travels bring inspiration to her paintings of landscapes, florals and still life. She is also known for her enchanting paintings of downtown Ottawa and the Rideau Canal. Recent creations include what she refers to as "interiors". These paintings of scenes within the home, allow her the freedom to use a more vibrant colour palette. Tracy's work has been displayed in many art shows and galleries within Ontario. She resides in the west end of Ottawa where since 2004, offers a wide variety of fun and creative art classes for children and adults in her studio.
