~ Art Classes ~ Come and create art in a quiet studio setting located in Kanata. Enrol your child for a painting and drawing class. Take one yourself or with a friend. Below you will find information on upcoming classes. ~ Children ~ Programs are available for children ages 4-6, 7-9 and 10-14 in drawing, painting and Arts & Crafts. ~Painting and Drawing~ *Registration has started for Spring 2010! One hour weekly lessons are held from September to December and January to June. Children will learn to create work in acrylic paint on canvas, watercolours, oil pastels, coloured pencils and various drawing mediums. Programs are developed specifically for individual needs and skill level. Class size is limited. *Children can join in on a class at any time, as registration is ongoing throughout the year. These courses will run each season for 8-10 week terms. Learn acrylic painting techniques and develop your own style. Mosaic Workshop Learn how to create mosaic mirrors, pictures, table tops and more. This course is designed to give you the basic skills of the ancient art of mosaics. By creating small projects in class, students will then have the skill needed to create endless mosaics on their own.
